AFTER CARE

Please follow accordingly.

  • Once your tattoo is complete it will be covered with second skin.

  • Keep the second skin on for 3-5 Days.

  • Only showers, and always lukewarm water. Tattoos resemble sunburns, if the water is too hot, it will hurt.

  • Second skin breaths and is water resistant, if you water log it, it will loosen. It is best to keep tattoos out of water while showering.

  • Keep the Tattoo out of the sun and try not to sleep on it.

  • No pools, ocean, sea, sauna, steam rooms, rivers and still waters. Only Showers.

  • Once you are at the removal time for the second skin, remove by peeling off along the skin, do not tug away from the body.

  • Once the second skin is removed, wash with unscented soap, pat dry ( preferably with a paper towel) and then apply unscented lotion.

  • Depending on how Dirty or Sweaty your day has been, wash once in the morning and once at night or once a day. If you are breaking out into acne you are applying too much lotion.

  • Around day 7-8, you will begin to peel like a sunburn. You tattoo will appear like it is leaving. This is normal. Do not pick or rub the flacking skin and let it fall off naturally.

  • Once the peeling is over (around 2 weeks) your tattoo will be healed to the point aftercare can stop.

  • I recommend not working out while healing the tattoo. Work out = sweat, sweat = salt, salt = dry tattoo and unnecessary dryness leads to extra peeling.

  • Failure to follow healing instructions may lead to loss of Free touch-ups.
